Profile :  Born & brought up in Army culture, Joined LNCPE as student in 1994 and as Lecturer in April 2007, Have been awarded Junior Research and Senior Fellowship by University Grants Commission, Completed Ph.D. at LNIPE in the year 2005. Dr.Brij Kishore Prasad is anAssistant Professor in Physical Education at Department of Under Graduate Programme, Lakshmibai National Institute of Physical Education (Deemed University), Gwalior (M.P.), and has experience of more than thirteen years of Research and Teaching, Exercise Physiology, Sports Medicine, Sports Statistics, Sports Training, Essentials of Educational Technology in Teaching Pedagogy and Sports Specialization (Hockey) in graduate and undergraduate level.He began his teaching Career as Assistant Professor in Physical Education from Bundelkand University, Jhansi (U.P.) in the year 2002. His academic and research interests are evidenced in the qualitative and highly appreciated papers presented at National and International level. Published more than 40 research papers in national and international journal and presented more than 35 research papers in conferences, seminars and workshops in India and aboard. He is actively involved in various National and international bodies to promote academics in the field of sports for an in-depth understanding aimed at fostering an environment that encourages sports activities as a part of holistic growth. He had privilege of working as Opening and Closing ceremony coordinator at Winter Olympic Games 2010 held at Vancouver, Canada. At present he is acting Chief Editor of two International Journals and Associate Editor in three National Journals. Organised more than 12 national and international level conferences, workshop and seminars. Registered and Certificated coach of field hockey of Field Hockey Association of British Colombia, Canada.
